Preschool + Kindergarten

Berean Preschool + Kindergarten offers both preschool and kindergarten curriculum designed to support each child’s growth academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Through age-appropriate lessons, hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and faith-centered guidance, children are encouraged to build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for the next stage of learning.

We embark on a journey through the Bible, beginning with the compelling stories of the Old Testament, progressing to the transformative teachings of the New Testament, and culminating in the exploration of the Fruits of the Spirit. Our approach is engaging and multifaceted. We utilize a children's Bible, memorize scripture through song, and integrate handwriting and art projects into our study of the Bible. We also cultivate a practice of praying both quietly in our hearts and aloud with and for each other.

Kindergarten Curriculum

  • Reading

    Heggerty Bridge to Reading:  Heggerty is a systematic phonemic awareness program designed to teach the foundations to reading.

  • Math

    Singapore Math:  Setting a math and logical foundation exploring numbers, shapes, basic subtraction and addition, along with learning about data/graphs, time, and money.

  • Science

    Science:  Studying an introduction to the sciences of biology and anatomy along with the study of plants and the butterfly life cycle.  This curriculum focuses on how God designed our bodies and other living things.

  • Handwriting

     Zaner-Bloser Handwriting:  Handwriting focused on correct letter and number formation.

  • Art & Music

    Studying the Five Elements of Art and incorporating hands-on projects to enhance fine motor skills and spark creativity amongst the kindergartners.

  • The Bible

    A cornerstone of our curriculum, and what truly distinguishes your child's educational experience here, is the study of God's Word and scripture memorization.

  • Kindergarten

  • Extended Day Program

    September - May
    Our extended day program offers one hour before and after class.

    It is open to Full Day Students only. Rate is an additional monthly fee.

    1 days per week - $50 / Month
    2 days per week - $100 / Month
    3 days per week - $150 / Month
    4 days per week - $200 / Month
    5 days per week - $225 / Month

    Email Kelly Peterson or call 952-223-1814 for current openings and to determine which class is best for your child. Tours are highly encouraged and last about 20 minutes.

  • Save Your Place

    Once your enrollment form is submitted, you will receive an invoice through Brightwheel for the $75 non-refundable registration fee. You have 48 hours to pay the invoice to secure your child’s spot. After the payment is received you will receive confirmation of your child’s enrollment. Following your enrollment to Berean Preschool, you will receive additional form requests through Brightwheel that need to be submitted prior to your child’s first day of school.
