Curriculum

Preschool Curriculum

At Berean Preschool, we provide a Christ-centered, play-based learning environment that nurtures the whole child—spiritually, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. Through Bible stories, chapel, prayer, and hands-on faith lessons, children grow in their understanding of God’s love while building confidence, kindness, and independence.

Our developmentally appropriate curriculum encourages curiosity and creativity through literacy, math, science, art, music, engineering, and purposeful play. Children also develop important social and physical skills through collaborative activities, movement, and hands-on learning experiences designed to prepare them for lifelong success. A complete copy of our Child Care Program Plan is made available to families upon enrollment.

    Art & Music

Kindergarten students also enjoy learning with our music specialist twice each week, enriching their educational experience through music and movement.

  • A colorful illustration of an open Bible with a cross and a heart on the pages, surrounded by radiant lines.

    The Bible

A cornerstone of our curriculum, and what truly distinguishes your child's educational experience here, is the study of God's Word and scripture memorization.

Chapel

Helping children know and love Jesus is at the heart of all we do. Once each month, students gather for Chapel led by Mrs. Peterson. This is a time filled with praise and worship, engaging puppet shows, Bible stories, and joyful celebration.

Each chapel introduces one of our Core Truths—18 foundational themes woven throughout Scripture that help children understand God's story and His love for them. From God Created Everything to God Sent the Savior to The Holy Spirit Is My Helper, these truths provide a strong biblical foundation that children revisit and build upon throughout their time at Berean.

We also love celebrating the children by recognizing birthdays during each month's chapel service, making it a meaningful and memorable time of worship, learning, and fellowship together.
