Berean Preschool + Kindergarten opened its doors in 1982 as the Berean Education Center with one simple goal: to provide families with a quality, faith-based early learning experience. More than four decades later, we’ve grown in size and programming, but our mission remains the same. We feel honored to partner with families as we help set their children up for joy-filled success in learning.

We are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) and the Minnesota Department of Health. Our program serves children ages 33 months through kindergarten, and all students must be independent in toileting.

Though we share space and a name with Berean Baptist Church, Berean Preschool + Kindergarten operates as a stand-alone nonprofit school. We are grateful for our partnership with the church as we work together to serve families in our community. Oversight is provided by our dedicated board of directors.

Our team is made up of full-time and part-time teachers, assistants, and classroom aides. All staff meet DCYF qualification standards and receive ongoing training as part of their continued professional development.
